Hug A Giant Day 2013: It's The Thought That Counts

Okay, so, she was...utterly massive. But some kind of bizarre custom was in effect and I felt sort of compelled to give her a hug. Partially because of what my mother said about the simple hug being unparalleled in it's significance to affection and the fact that someone was not alone, partially because of the social pressure and guilt, and partially because I figured she needed it. If only she wasn't....well....when you stand at a mere 4 inches, it's hard to do anything. After a lengthy and treacherous climb my efforts ended...well...ineffectual at best. She was something close to hundreds of times my size...but still...

I saw that was doing this thing and I figured I would return with this. Since my return is a big deal and all. So here's Simon attempting unsuccessfully to hug Marie, the big demon girl. Though he's having trouble seeing as normal-sized people are giants to him, and giants are like living mountains. Utterly massive.

Sort of playing with the idea of scale. I have to say it didn't come out....right. Not bad. But so many mistakes.
Still, that's part of it all, ain't it?
